Running into ‘the revolver club’ (TRC) community was serendipitous for me. Being a rookie in the vinyl space, the overload of information online was almost daunting for me. Here’s where the TRC website came to my rescue. It was a one stop shop for me. Keeping aside their amazing catalog of sophisticated systems and records on display, their blogs/videos targeted at beginners like me, was just what I was looking for. Shopping for the right combination of record player and speakers without burning a hole in your pocket, especially for beginners, can be challenging. Regarding this model, nothing needs to be mentioned specially as everyone knows that it is one of the most popular mid range direct drive turntables available in the global market. With full respect to other renowned turntable dealers in India I have come across, I can say without any confusion that The Revolver Club is the most reliable and authentic organization in this trade. I must mention that I have purchased AUDIO TECHNICA LP 120 model in 2022 at a very attractive price of Rs 46600 including shipping whereas the same model was available with other vendors at much higher price starting from 65000 to more than 1 lakh. I have always found great joy in exploring genres and discovering new music ever since my college days. I got captivated by the idea of Owning an Album as a vinyl with the accompanying artwork. But I didn't know how to get started. So naturally, I went to communities in Discord and Reddit to see how to get started, but the answers were quite varied; I didn't hear anything concrete for someone like me at a beginner level. The YouTube algorithm suggested a video from Jude at The Revolver Club on how to get started with owning vinyl and what system to play said vinyl, which gave me a positive affirmation to get the Denon DP 29F and the Edifier R1280DB speakers during the time I was trying to figure out how to break into the hobby. Sketches of Spain, a Third Stream classic by Miles Davis, was one of the first vinyl records I purchased from Revolver Club. Sketches of Spain sounded poorly mixed on all digital platforms due to the record's occasionally too-harsh trumpet because of poor mixing. The Vinyl, however, had a warmer sound with a better-sounding trumpet, which complemented the mood the album went for. I have been collecting Vinyl since 2015 and I practically stopped listening to them because I realised my old briefcase style player was actually scratching my vinyl and did not produce a good quality sound. I was on the lookout for a good player, and that’s when I stumbled upon TRC’s video on their “Enthusiast Pack” which had an Audio Technica LP60x and a pair of active Edifier speakers! Needless to say this set up is a big step up from my older setup, I am absolutely in love with the audio fidelity and the speakers fill in the room nicely, they are punchy and make the listening experience really nice. A big pro is that the speakers come with two lines of input, So when i am not using my turntable they work amazingly well with my laptop. The Raketa Big Zero is perhaps one of the most evocative conversation starters I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Every fragment of the watch is bejeweled not only with expert craftsmanship but also history, stories and segues. From its very name, Raketa, which is a rendition of the Russian word for "Space Rocket" to the watch's origins in Russia's oldest factory, to its connections to Mikhail Gorbachev and the collapse of the Soviet Union. No watch has defined my aesthetic and penchant for storytelling as much as the Raketa Big Zero. I'm grateful to The Revolver Watch Club who helped me acquire this inseparable part of my wardrobe and thankful for a hundred conversations that were sparked off by this watch. Special gratitude to Manu, Jude and Mihir who made sure that the watch was in excellent condition and also ensured that I was the first to get my hands on this cult classic thanks to their efficient ordering and delivery processes.

Raketa - The Big Zero

Firstly, the packaging was superb for such a fragile product. Secondly, the suggestion of Edifier sound boxes with the Denon DP-29F hits the right spot for a beginner. It is the right solution for a turntable and compatible sound system agenda, Edifier R1280DB goes the best with Denon DP-29F. There was no need for buying a different amplifier for the turntable to get the right sound. Its Pre-amp does most of the work and beginners won’t have to sit to balance to get that sweet sound.

Audio Technica LP120xUSB is not easy to get in India and Revolver club is a great help not only in getting this Turntable but also infuses confidence inasmuch as they are prompt in offering help online or in person when you visit. I ordered a turntable online and was told it would arrive sometime AFTER Feb 7 but in fact it arrived exactly on Feb 7. I also recieved a prompt response on email on Feb 6 with regard to a small query I had concerning it. Also a couple of days ago (Feb 17) I recieved a follow up email from revolver club enquiring whether the piece is functioning properly and whether sound quality is enjoyable. It was EXTREMELY gratifying to receieve such warm and friendly correspondence showing their concern for customers. With regard to customer service FIVE stars to Revolver Club. Audio Technica LP120XUSB is really a GREAT turntable (though not the top end TT) with a LOT of potential for upgradation without severly depleting one's purse. Personally I plan to upgrade the stylus a year down with a Ortofon red which I can get for about 10K. For western music where the piece typically involves a parade of instruments across the musical floor, the stylus is sensitive enough to pick up subtle nuances. Of course one must keep in mind that for a specific vinyl the sound quality may not be upto the mark and this cannot be attributed to the player rather it could be due to the vinyl being old. As technology evolves the quality of recordings also improve over the decades and expecting a flawless, sweet and velvety sound from a 50 year old vinyl is of course too much to expect but the 120X does a pretty good job. Besides upgrading the cartrige I am also thinking of acquiring an AT60XUSB which tracks at 3.5 grams (heavier than AT120X) but which would have the advantange of robustness to deal with a part of my old (and rare) collection with scratches and skips/loops or other minor blemishes. I do look forward to being a more active participant in Revolver Club activities.

I looked on OLX for a while and then almost gave up. Fortunately, I am part of this WhatsApp group by The Revolver Club on which Jude had posted a link for vintage Hi-Fi equipment. On that link, I found this gorgeous Technics cassette deck. I immediately expressed my interest and soon enough I got a call from this person called George who is an associate of the Revolver Club in Bangalore. I got all the details from him. So I went ahead and made the payment to George for the cassette deck and 5 blank tapes. In about 10 days I got the delivery of the cassette deck. It was packed very properly. The cassette deck works properly and I have proudly added it to my Hi-Fi setup along with my Turntables and CD Player. My cassette collection has come to life with it.

I made the mistake of starting out with a budget suitcase turntable, so that I could focus on building my record collection. Ended up damaging two of my favorite records and decided I needed to upgrade. I found a great deal on The Revolver Club for a used Denon DP-29F and didn't think twice. After a simple chat with the current owner and figuring out logistics, I had my first real turntable. Now, if it were an independent seller, I'd have to make sure of the speaker's condition and age and do my due diligence, etc. but I rested a lot easier once guys at The Revolver Club said they stood by their products (even pre-owned) and knew the seller well. The vintage HMT Pilot was delivered in decent packaging, and in good condition. The strap provided was changed as per my request. Overall, I really enjoy wearing this watch. I bought my first turntable overseas and wasn't sure if I'd get my choice of records in India. The Revolver Club has not only helped me acquire what I wanted, but more. I remember visiting Revolver Club after work one day to experience Vinyls as I had never heard them before. In the world of streaming services and free music. There are very few people who know the value of and treasure physical media. Being a music lover myself, I’ve always found it difficult and tedious to source records and gears from other countries, that was until I discovered The Revolver Club. I was delighted to find a physical store in India, who stocked just about everything under one roof. From music to gears. I still remember my first purchase from them, a Rega RP3, followed by several records back in 2016/2017, a breezy experience it was. I fondly remember getting acquainted with Jude in 2018 for my second turntable purchase, a Rega P1 (birthday gift for a loved one due in 4 days) which was out of stock on the website. I love listening to music, In my family everyone loves listening to music so I decided to get a turntable. I ticked off one of the wishes from my 2020 bucket list. I believe the vinyl medium makes one appreciate music in a different way - the album art you can hold and wonder at, listening to whole albums at a time, and there's also something very different about the analog sound. But for someone who's just starting out and without deep pockets, it can be slightly overwhelming, particularly in India. I ordered a vinyl player before this , from a huge e-commerce company and I placed the orders for a few records ( Room for squares - John Mayer , illunoise - sufjan Steven , the 1975 and glass animals ) from a friend's store ( Miller records , Bali - you should check out that place if you are ever in Bali ) which were delivered within two weeks’ time. This was when I didn't know of the existence of TRC and I wondered if I will have to spend a lot for shipping these records from outside. But the e-com. Company really took me for a ride and it ended in a really bad experience. The record player never came and i got the refund only after 3 months. That's when couple of my friends suggested TRC. Hi Folks, I am Vijay, an audio enthusiast from my childhood, a great fan of MJ, I never had great Music System had only decent ones all these days. I bought Pioneer VSX 523 K, AV receiver around 5 years back, I had paired this with my old speakers (of Sony HiFi system of 90’s as front speakers and some Chinese speakers as surround and centre channel speaker) average audio quality. One stop shop for all things analog. Jude (the proprietor) is a consumer of vinyl and not the quintessential businessman who got into audio for profits. He and his team at Revolver are a bunch of passionate audiophiles who are a moment's notice away in changing gears and becoming your extended pair of hands, eyes and ears. The rates are competitive, service is compellingly punctual and they have very good relations with the brands they represent. I don't think the space here is enough to pen my appreciation for The Revolver Club. Their collection of records needs special mention. Never sent a sub par pressing. Nothing was warped or carelessly packaged for delivery. Just great people with you and me in their focus. Can't ask for more as I fear they may actually bend backwards and deliver

Since I had a bunch of my dads cool records and a few of my own with two antique players that won’t work anymore, I really wanted to get me something more up to speed and affordable too. I looked through the website and found one in my budget. The folks at The Revolver Club were good enough to answer all my questions on WhatsApp and soon my baby was on its long road journey from Mumbai to Bangalore through the hassle of lockdowns, Corona scenes, and inefficient courier company nonsense! I was super happy to receive it with all pieces intact 😃 though it took its time. Most of my vinyl life has been watching my uncle working on getting our ‘58 Collaro back in business, and the fascination with how marvellous an invention sat in front of me. A good 15 years later, my interest in vinyl's and players was back when I decided to walk into the Revolver Club one evening with a colleague. 3 players since, the last being and Audio Technical I got from them, an average day doesn’t go by without me having an LP on in the evening as I wind down for the day. I’ll give a lot of credit to TRC for keeping me going steady with this hobby. Very crucial that one has the right support when you get moving beyond lap one of a new pursuit. And with a lot of comfort. The kind I feel I’ve had every time I’ve stepped into their store or reached out to them over the phone. Goes with out saying that a major chunk of my collection has been procured from them. And how good a repository they have is evident when I visit record stores around the world and can say ‘Never mind, I’ll get this one at TRC for sure’. The confidence in them has gone far enough for me to get a player through them. One they also helped in setting up given it had to have some mods to suit Indian standards for i/o. I was thinking about buying a record player as a gift for my wife (but I won't lie, I probably wanted it more than she did :p ) and after reading a bit about it online, decided to visit The Revolver Club, since it seemed most interesting and also had great reviews. So I walked into this great café/Living room like setting which was actually a record shop and met Jude, who instantly got me hooked onto the whole experience of records and promptly played me a Dire straits track on his player which then had me in hook, line and sinker. He had a whole bunch of options right from the cheapest setup available on the market, to the mid range ones and also the high end ones and was very frank in his advice about which would suit whom. He also had a great set of records on display and they also have an online shop where you can purchase them. I did end up buying a mid range setup and had it shipped and installed promptly. Overall : I would highly recommend this place especially for someone who doesn't know anything about records to get a better understanding of how everything works and what would be a good first player for them, but I'm sure even the most devoted fans of records would love this place not only to browse through their record collection but also to perhaps upgrade their setups !

My experience with The revolver club has been exceptional. As a beginner , I started out with the LP 60 as suggested by them. And after 2 years now I’ve come to collect almost 28 records out of which at least 22 are from TRC. Always a loyal customer for unparalleled service, amirite?

Can’t believe how different music sounds on a record. We grew up listening to tapes and it was all there ! The some guy in college bootlegged cds with whole discographies of bands on them, compressed MP3s - we got greedy and forgot what music was supposed to sound like. I am a third generation vinyl listener and the need to upgrade my turntable was urgent. I had finalised the Clearaudio Concept Turntable as the one for me and just when i was about to buy, Covid19 happened and everything shut down. I must admit that the response and service that I got from The Revolver Club was fantastic even though I had a specific date for the delivery of the TT during the lockdown period. After the delivery, the handholding I needed during the set up period was perfect, and today I can very happily say that I made the correct decision of going to them for my Turntable and I am sure I will be back with them for my future needs.

Long before I bought a record player I had been perusing through the revolver clubs collection at various pop-ups and even at their store on a few occasions. I bought a turntable (Audio Technica ATLP60) from Revolver Club 2 years back as a gift for my boyfriend. He loved it. All thanks to the Revolver Club who helped me in choosing the right turntable. It is being used with powered stereo speakers, though for the best result it should be used with an analog receiver. It did not require any adopter for Indian electrical set-up, it was simply plug and play. Revolver club took care of converting the electrical before hand. It works perfectly, plays all old and new records without any glitch or hesitation. Over 2 years of mildly frequent use and the head did not require a change till yet, though revolver club assured us that spares will be available whenever we need them. Revolver club is good in sending records as well, they pack it perfectly, which keeps the records safe, unlike various other sellers, where your records and get damaged in transport. When I visited Mumbai for the first time, I was staying at Navi Mumbai for a few days and the first thing I did was rent a taxi and go to ‘The Revolver Club’. I was born an audiophile in small town India where most people thought I was nuts. Its great to be part of a community of fellow nutcases.

Just 5 Minute conversation with Manu and I was convinced to by a sound system for my home. Manu suggested the entire set up and given how knowledgable and passionate the team is, I took their word and it has worked brilliantly. Jude personally came and setup the system and gave us a priceless tip- place the speaker at a height of 3 feet. It's a minor tweak but makes a world of difference. Plesantly surprised by the quality of support after I purchased my turntable from The Revolver Club, nice selection of records.

In this digital age of streaming we can get whatever we want to listen to on our fingertips, but I always wanted to go to a music store,go through their library,pick out a record and look at all the cool artworks by the band and buy a record and read all the lyrics. This whole process has an ineffable feeling to it. So I thought okay let's start by buying a vinyl, so I went online and the first name that came in my search results was The Revolver Club and I was blown away. I couldn't believe that we have a store where I can do all of those things, and on the top of that they were even selling record players,which were out of my budget to be frank. So I started by getting a vinyl and started saving up for the record player. I also visited their store when I went to Mumbai and I finally got that "ineffable" experience. After a year I bought my first turntable Pro-ject Primary E from them, they were very attentive and helpful with the whole buying process. So thank you TRC and I wish them well and I hope that they keep on doing what they're doing.

I am into headphones but P3 has brought a different impact to the Signal Chain that I have. It was Amazing experience for me to get the P3. The Purchase was very smooth. And I am liking the P3 to the hilt.

I've grown up being very intrigued by my grandparents' antique gramophone record player, and how it worked. I only remember the needle drop on a wobbly spinning disk, as shown in cartoons, followed by the crackle and the music played. My first experience with Vinyl was in the mid 80's. My father's HMV Stereo 1010 was an source of immaculate joy. Every 2 or 3 months on a Sunday would get the vinyl's, (we used to call them records) out of our closet and the fun began with Nazia Hassan's Disco Dewane then gradually moving to Manna Dey or Mukesh (my father's favorite) or Debrabata Biswas. Now after almost more than 30 years I realized Vinyl is back with a bang. With some extensive googling, I finalized my setup -- Project Debut III, Denon and Elac, Ortofon cartridge...But unfortunately, was never able to save the money for last 4 years ,😭😭😭. My Wifey first suggested to get a turntable first and start restoring and collecting vinyl's. After almost more than 1000 visits to TRC website, I finally took help of Jude and with his help got my 2nd Turntable of my life : Audio Technica AT LP60X. Got it connected to my older Yamaha Ipod Dock. Really happy and pleased to get this turntable and its a constant source of excitement, nostalgia and musical bliss during these strange times!!!

My parents have been together since school and music has had a huge role to play in their story. Finding the perfect Denon DP-300USB record player and LP’s for their anniversary on The Revolver Club website was an amazing experience - a little something to take them back to their childhood in a rapidly growing digital era.

Locked down in an otherwise bucolic surroundings, I was restless to upgrade my head-fi set up. Impulsively, I thought: why not an analogue hifi system? This triggered a bit of online research. I shortlisted Rega. Rega's UK office was notoriously difficult to contact, so I reached out to the Indian dealers. Eventually, it took me to Jude's webstore, and finally, we connected. We had numerous telephonic conversations. I drew two conclusions: not only Jude was quoting the lowest price, but he created confidence about the system I was investing in. This led me to choose a set up which should have been a next-step upgrade. Jude also replaced the faulty amplifier without asking any question. Would I buy again from Jude or recommend him to others?: In a heartbeat.

Rega Planar 8 Turntable

I wanted a good room filling sound for my bedroom entertainment, casual listening, ps4 gaming, OTT content etc. I reached a lot before getting the Edifier r-1280db powered bookshelf speakers. Good warm sound signature, not to bassy but punchy bass. Has an optical, rca and bluetooth connection. I was looking for dealers I didn't wanna buy from Amazon as the after sales service is not so good, i found about the revolver club and I felt this is where I'm getting this system from. By far The revolver club has best after sales support I've ever experienced with any brand. The live upto the customer's expectations and satisfaction. You guys rock! I definitely recommend TRC for all you audio visual equipments.

I was really confused on which turntable to be bought as a gift for my dad, since it’s a vintage concept it’s really difficult to find experts for the same. While I was searching online about where to buy the turntables from; I found the contact of Revolvers Club, I connected with Jude (owner of revolvers club) and he guided me perfectly and asked me to visit the showroom once for viewing the actual models. The very next day I visited the showroom and the staff was really nice and they asked about my preference and thence suggested me to buy DP-29F Turntable. Shalom is “the guy” to approach to cop any vinyls ever made, literally like any. After the purchase they were constantly on call with me during the installation process ( that needs to be done manually, cause it’s not any rocket science ) but I really appreciate them sticking by. The whole staff together works very well, I would really rate my working experience to be 10/10

I was able to set up the system a couple of weeks after getting it. But the setting up went very smoothly. Including the Wi-Fi connections. Its been a month of listening to the systems. Both the units and the two units together are working very well so far. The sound quality and the music listening experience has been awesome. We are very happy with the system. I was looking for an LP player for my partner's parents, who own a few LPs from back in the day. When I started my search it seemed like getting it from another country seemed like the only option. When I found the Revolver Club I was thrilled. I found the AT LP-60x on a pre-sale on the website and ordered it. The folks over there are patient and helpful and have a contagious enthusiasm for music. I got updates at every step of the way and the player was delivered in perfect condition. We had a phillips record player at home and my childhood memories always included the music played on it..Dad had a fairly good collection of vinyl records...with the advent of Tape recorder, listening music shifted to casettes..later to CDs then to MP3 Player and now to Mobile.. My son Nikhil loves to hear our childhood stories and discovered the viny collection..He wanted to listen them in the player and then as a Christmas present we bought the player...we got the revords cleaned and he being a musician ( singer) himself could not believe the quality of music recorded in those times...but for your player he would not had a chance to enjoy the music at its best...Thank you very much for making it possible. Nothing beats Vinyl for warmth, presence and immediacy...play a demo disc on vinyl and be prepared to be amazed by the difference with playing the same music on CD. My set-up - Rega Planar 3 (brought from you of course), Marantz PM7005 stage & Sonodyne 3260 bookshelf speakers.

I bought a record player overseas that went completely bust the second I plugged it in here because of the voltage difference. I dropped by The Revolver Club and they were extremely helpful and had it back at home within a week! They really have an extensive knowledge on the subject when I picked their brain about record players to buy, so I would definitely recommend you visit their store! If not for the player - they have a beautiful selection of records to choose from.

Krish from TRC promptly contacted me after I reached out to them and very patiently answered all my queries (the internet can throw you off guard at times with all the confusing recommendations that really don't apply to your taste). He never pressured me into buying on the same day; in fact, he kept insisting that I feel at peace with my decision, and only after that, he asked me to complete the order.
